London Fashion Weekend 2015
Last month I was lucky enough to get tickets for the photographer's pit at Londons fashion weekend! And WOW what an experience!
With some of the biggest names in fashion i.e House of Holland, Peter Pilotto, Issa and Christopher Raeburn, it was a fantastic event!
I got the opportunity to photograph House of Holland's wacky designs and below you can see the certain few images I have picked out to share with you.
Henry Holland was catapulted into the fashion limelight in 2006.
"In 2008 house of Holland held its first solo show on the London Fashion Week schedule. Now in the brand’s 13th season, House of Holland is firmly established in the international fashion arena and in January 2012 was awarded a two-season fashion forward sponsorship". LFW
Henry inspiration comes from the look of a London girl in mind & by the variety of attitudes and cultures that exist throughout the UK capital.
These photo's are his designs for Autumn/Winter collection 2015. I love how bold, bright and colourful they are. The different patterns, lines and textures are all designed with great care, paying attention to every little detail. I personally think all of his work is aestetically pleasing! ..... However would I wear the majority of it myself?!....Probably not!.... Maybe this is because I am not daring enough to go out of the comfort zone being from a small village and not the cultural City of London.
If there was one that that really stood out when walking around the streets of london was that everyones fashion was outgoing, bold and really daring. Every single person seemed to have a completely different look. Not like those from Lancashire haha.... the vast majority of us should probably admit we stick to the top trends of our high street shops.
What are your thoughts about his Autumn/winter designs?! Would you wear them yourself?!
Here are some of his passionate designs worn with confidence by the beautiful models. This catwalk lasted approxiamately 30minuties and was taken at the Saatchi Gallery.
If your thinking about trying to get tickets for the photographers pit next year I would definately recommend it to you! Don't let the idea of being cramped in a very small space with 50 other photographers all fighting for a good spot put you off! It's all part of paparazzi/press photography experience haha :P
